I recently read about the toxic effects of Aloe Vera on dogs and cats, and it got me thinking about the plants we keep in our homes. Has anyone had experience with this? I want to make sure I’m keeping my furry friends safe, especially since Aloe is so common in households?
, this drives me nuts too! I had no idea Aloe Vera was toxic until I started researching plants for my home. A good alternative I found is spider plants; they’re safe for pets and super easy to care.
It’s surprising how many common plants can be harmful to pets… A friend of mine swapped out her aloe for a peace lily, which is pet-friendly, although you still have to keep an eye on them since even safe plants can be nibbled on. Have you thought about other pet-safe options, @jessica_lee77?
