And it’s funny how the very medications meant to make us feel better come with a laundry list of side effects that could rival a horror movie script. I recently came across a patient who was more concerned about the potential for dizziness than the original health issue. Anyone else see the irony in that? It’s almost as if we swap one set of worries for another.
Isn’t it wild how we end up more worried about side effects than the actual problem? It’s like trading a flat tire for a spinning wheel. Maybe we should start a support group for side effect survivors! Anyone else feel like the list of side effects needs a comedy rewrite?
It’s definitely a funny paradox… We go from fearing one issue to being paranoid about a new list of potential problems. Maybe it’s time we start asking, “What’s the worst that could happen… other than an unexpected dance party from all that dizziness?” Have you noticed any particular meds that seem to have the wildest side effects?
